Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Personal data is information that can identify you as an individual person, such as name, email address, street address or phone number. Processing your personal data is necessary for us to serve you or our Customers.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with

Turner Cooling and Heating does not share your personal data with third-parties who intend to use the data for marketing purposes if you have not given your consent to this.

Turner Cooling and Heating may share your personal data with third parties for other purposes but only in the following contexts:

a. Business partners
Turner Cooling and Heating may share your personal information with our partners in the event that this is legitimate from a business perspective. For example, if you purchase a service on behalf of your employer that we provide through one of our certified partners.

b. Public authorities
The police and/or other authorities may demand the handover of personal information from Turner Cooling and Heating. In these cases, Turner Cooling and Heating will only hand over the data if there is a court order or another legal obligation to do so.

c. Mergers and acquisitions
In connection with mergers, acquisitions or divestiture of all or parts of Turner Cooling and Heating’ business, the acquiring entity as well as its consultants and Turner Cooling and Heating’ will obtain access to data managed by the Turner Cooling and Heating entity/entities involved and this may in some cases include personal data. In which case, such external parties will enter into a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Turner Cooling and Heating, which will also cover potential disclosure of personal data.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Turner Cooling and Heating will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the stated purpose, while also taking into account our need to answer queries or resolve problems and to comply with legal requirements under applicable laws.

This means that we may retain your personal data for a reasonable period after your last interaction with us. To manage our Customer relations in general and to meet our Customer commitments, Turner Cooling and Heating collects some information about you in your role as a Customer contact person or user of a service.

c) Perform deliveries in accordance with a customer agreement

h) Communicate information that is relevant for our deliveries in particular and our customer relations in general

Processing according to the above-listed purposes (a to j) is necessary for us to manage our customer relations. Therefore Turner Cooling and Heating does not ask for your consent to process your personal data. We do not consider that the processing disadvantages you in any way.

In addition, we will also collect information about you as a contact person or user of a service, for the following purposes:
